The campground fees for Flagstaff County operated campgrounds are:

Power sites: $30/night
Non-Serviced sites: $25/night

No firewood provided.

We accept payment in cash or cheque. Please make cheques payable to "FLAGSTAFF COUNTY."

  • DiplomatTroutPond Diplomat Trout Pond
    Location: East side of Hwy 855 across from the Diplomat Mine Interpretation Centre. Approximately 16 km from Forestburg.
    Sites: 15 non-serviced sites.
    What it has to offer: The Trout Pond is home to many wildlife and plant species and can be seen from the nature trail or lakeside gazebo. The Diplomat Trout Pond is stocked with Rainbow Trout on a yearly basis.
    * Camping is available on a first come, first serve basis, with no reservations allowed. Campers are only permitted to stay a minimum of 10 nights.

  • EdgertonDaycamp Edgerton Day Campground
    Location: 1 km south of Daysland on Rge Rd 163.
    Sites: 12 sites (4 powered sites and 8 non-serviced sites).
    What it has to offer: A covered picnic area for day stops, playground, multiple large group areas, large amount of overflow camping and parking.
    * Camping is available on a first come, first serve basis, with no reservations allowed. Campers are only permitted to stay a maximum of 10 nights.

  • Fish Lake Fish Lake Park
    Location: North of Hwy 13, 2 km west of Hardisty.
    Sites:20 sites (8 serviced; 6 with 30 amp power, 2 with 15 amp power, and rest non-serviced).
    What it has to offer: Two large groups sites, day use area with a covered shelter, basketball hoop, fishing, lakeside gazebo, boat launch, playground and beach area, swimming, fire pits, horseshoe pits, and golf course nearby. Only non-motorized boats allowed within Fish Lake.
    * Camping is available on a first come, first serve basis, with no reservations allowed. Campers are only permitted to stay a maximum of 10 nights.

  • Galahad school Galahad Municipal Grounds
    Location: Former school grounds, northwest Galahad off Merlin Street.
    Sites: Group camping to be utilized for such events as family reunions, weddings, etc.
    What it has to offer: Showers and washrooms, ball diamonds, playground equipment ,and fully enclosed gazebo with large community fire pit.

  • Galahad campgrdGalahad Campground
    Location: In Galahad on Guinevere Avenue East.
    Sites: 6 sites with water and 30 amp power.
    What it has to offer: A public washroom/shower house.

  • Strome Campground Strome Campground
    Location: Northwest edge of town.
    Sites: 25 non-serviced sites.
    What it has to offer: Treed sites, fire pits, and fire grills, next to ball diamond, school playground, hall, and gazebo.

The campgrounds listed below are NOT managed by Flagstaff County. For information on campground fees, availability of sites, or amenities, please contact these campgrounds directly.

  • Alliance Campground Alliance Campground
    Location: In the Village of Alliance on the north end of main street.
    Sites: 4 sites with water and power.
    What it has to offer: Shaded sites, showers, washrooms, dump station, next to the ball diamonds, and close to walking trail and Multiplex.

  • Battle River Campground Battle River Campground
    Location: 3 KM south on Hwy 36 from the intersection of Hwy 36 and Sec. Hwy 602.
    Sites: 5 sites
    What it has to offer: Fire pits, picnic shelter, close to the Battle River, pit toilets. No potable water

    Sites: 30 sites, plus 6 group areas.
    What it has to offer: Bird watching, fishing, hiking, river valley landscape, RVs available to rent, sandy beach, event area available for weddings, events, reunions with 20' x 40' tent included.

  • Big Knife Provincial Park Big Knife Provincial Park
    Location: 5 miles west of Forestburg on HWY 53, then 7 miles south on SH 855.
    Sites: 50 sites.
    What it has is to offer: Canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, boating, bird watching, hiking, and a playground.

  • Daysland Golf Course Campground Daysland Golf Course Campground
    Location: 5538 - 50 Street, Daysland, AB
    Sites: 29 sites (4 full-serviced, 6 power and water, and rest non-serviced).
    What it has to offer: Showers, flush toilets, group camping, and hiking trail available. Campsites on gravel and surrounded by trees. Location is near golf course.

  • Forestburg Golf Course RV Park Forestburg Golf & RV Park:
    Location: 5401 - 50 Avenue West, just off Sec. Hwy 856 on 50 Avenue, Forestburg, AB
    Sites: 17 full-serviced sites and several non-serviced sites.
    What it has to offer: 15 and 30 amp hookups, shower house, picnic tables at each site, horse shoe pits, group fire pit area, close 9-hole golf course with restaurant and lounge, children's playground; near swimming pool.

  • Hardisty Lake Campground
    Location: 4807 49 St, Hardisty, AB
    Sites: 58 sites (51 full-serviced, 7 power sites); plus 7 group sites.

  • Heisler Campground Heisler Campground
    Location: Irene Parlby Park at Haultain Avenue and Greenfield Street.
    Sites: 10 full-serviced sites.
    What it has to offer: Biking and hiking trails, playground, showers, flush toilets, and baseball diamonds nearby.

  • Killam Centennial Park Campground Killam Centennial Park Campground
    Location:4616 - 57 Street, Killam, AB
    Sites: 55 sites (15 full-serviced, 40 non-serviced).
    What it has to offer: Showers, flush toilets, gravel pads with lawn and row trees, free firewood (when available), washroom and shower rooms available, across street from skateboard park and playground, with baseball diamonds nearby.

  • Lougheed Campground Lougheed Campground
    Location: South side of Hwy 13.
    Sites: 15 sites (12 full-serviced, 3 power).
    What it has to offer: Picnic shelter on site, washrooms, next to the ball diamonds and museum.

  • Sedgewick Lake Park Campground Sedgewick Lake Park Campground
    Location: 1 KM north of Sedgewick on Rge Rd 124.
    Sites: 59 full service sites; group camping sites available.
    What it has to offer: Wading pool, playground, washrooms, shower, picnic shelter, and dock. Fire pits and picnic table at each site. Non-motorized boats only.

  • Burma Park
    Location: 32 KM south of Hwy 13 on Sec. Hwy 872.
    Sites: 21 serviced and non-serviced.
    What it has to offer: Playgrounds, sheltered picnic area, sani-station, showers, bathrooms (flush toilets), day-use area and baseball diamond nearby.

  • Rozi's RetreatRozi's Retreat
    Location: Off Hwy 13 between Daysland and Bawlf.

  • Lougheed Trout Pond
    Location: 0.5 KM north of Lougheed on Range Road 113A off of Highway 13
    What it has to offer: potable water available by pump, bathrooms, day use area, picnic shelter with a wood stove, playground, walking trails, firewood available, and ample fishing as the trout pond is restocked every year. Lougheed Trout pond is looking to expand in the upcoming years to expand sites and build a gazebo.

  • Rolling Hills RV
    Location: 13 KM North of Hardisty on highway 881
    Sites: 9 fully serviced RV sites (power, water, sewer)

  • Lagoona Beach RV park
    Location: In Killam in the east side of highway 36, next to the KIllam Krossing
    Sites: 26 sites with options of fully serviced or tenting sites
    What it has to offer: laundry services, dumping station, shower/washrooms with flush toilets, firewood, and internet. Picnic tables and fire pit are located at each site, and playground is located in the park.

    Location: 5111 - 51 St. in Hardisty
    Sites: 24 fully serviced RV sites (power, water, sewer)
