This summer Flagstaff County sponsored 10 students to attend a seven-day ACCA youth camp at Goldeye Centre as part of the ACCA Co-operative Youth Program. During the August 23rd Council meeting, seven of those students presented to councillors their camp experiences, relating how much they learned and how much fun they had, and expressing thanks for the County sponsorship.

The annual camps, divided into four levels (pre-teen, teen, youth and grad), provide an opportunity for students aged 11 to 18 to develop leadership and teamwork skills, while building independence and confidence, and creating lasting friendships.

The Flagstaff County-sponsored students that attended were as follows:

Pre-Teen (June 30 – July 6)
