Kristy Jackson, Flagstaff County’s Economic Development Officer, and Ava Bergseth, one of Flagstaff County’s promising young citizens, sport Flagstaff Region’s new apparel line. The apparel line supports a project the Economic Development Team is currently working on called Succeeding Together. Succeeding Together is an initiative to highlight and celebrate a culture of support throughout the Flagstaff Region. It is about much more than just shopping local, although it is a great place to start. Succeeding Together is about sharing and celebrating how we work together for the success and sustainability of the Flagstaff Region. It is about looking towards the future to ensure we remain a collaborative, innovative, and welcoming region that has opportunity for growth and success. The initiative is centered around amplifying stories of success and building pride in the region through six pillars:
- Makers/Crafters - 'Made in Flagstaff'
- Small Business - 'Hustle & Heart'
- Oil & Gas - 'Fueled by Flagstaff'
- Community - 'Flagstaff Proud'
- Agriculture - 'Let It Grow'
- History - 'Est. 1912'
You can find the Succeeding Together apparel being retailed at the Killam Wild Rose Co-op starting August 25 – October 2, 2021, Tuesday – Thursday, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. When you purchase a piece of apparel, profits from the sale will go to purchase a “Good Buy to Hunger” bag, supporting the Flagstaff Food Bank. Your purchase will help build community pride, but also ensure that Flagstaff Region residents have the ability to feed their families. This is one example of how we can all Succeed Together.
