The Government of Alberta has published a handbook that introduces the fundamental rights and responsibilities employers and workers have when it comes to occupational health and safety on Alberta farms and ranches.
This handbook explains what both groups need to do to be in compliance with the OHS Act and Regulations. It also provides examples of some of the more common hazards on a farm or ranch setting, and what can be done to help keep everyone healthy and safe on the job.
Pick up a handbook at the Flagstaff County office.
