It’s probably the last thing on your mind right now. But when infestations of Richardson’s Ground Squirrels are wreaking havoc on crops and farmland in a couple of months, eradicating the irksome varmints will be top of mind. By then, however, it could be too late.
That’s why Flagstaff County is once again selling 2% Liquid Strychnine Concentrate starting Wednesday, March 8. Sure, there may still be snow on the ground, but the best time to start using Strychnine is in late March, after the female “gophers” have come out of hibernation. For optimal results, it is widely recommended that Strychnine be used between mid-March and early May.
So don’t hesitate. All qualifying producers are invited to stop by the Flagstaff County Office to pick up some Strychnine.
Please be forewarned that there are strict guidelines in place regulating the purchase and use of this product. Prior to purchase, the producer will be required to sign an “Acknowledgement of Purchase & Use of Product” at the County Office.
Qualifying producers are restricted to a limit of three cases per visit.
Prices are set as follows:
- 6 bottles – $62.50
